훌륭한 리더십의 징표

Dilemmas are not resolved and solutions are not found simply by churning problems over and over. Anguished decisions can keep you up at night and cause you to sweat over the various possible outcomes, but at some point, decisions must be made before any action can be taken.  And someone must take the responsibility for those decisions.  The hallmark of great leadership is to make decisions in times of crisis and to take the responsibility for these decisions.  Indecision holds up progress, stifles the future, thwarts financial prosperity and cripples opportunity.

문제를 반복해서 휘젓는다고 딜레마가 해결되거나 해결책이 발견되지 않는다. 고통스러운 결정은 당신을 잠 못 이루게 하고 가능한 다양한 결과에 대해 고민하게 할 수 있지만, 어떤 시점에서는, 어떤 행동을 취하기 전에 결정을 해야만 한다. 그리고 누군가는 그 결정에 대해 책임을 져야 한다.  훌륭한 리더십의 징표는 위기의 시기에 결정을 하고 이 결정에 대해 책임을 지는 것이다. 우유부단함은 나아가는 것을 지연시키며, 미래를 막막하게 하고, 재정적인 번영을 방해하고 기회를 망치게 만든다.
